Diagnostic Imaging

The Diagnostic Imaging Department (D.I.D.) or X-ray provides a full digital imaging service to the patients and clinicians of St Luke’s Hospital.

This includes general X-ray, ultrasound, CT scanning and theatre fluoroscopy.

Our diagnostic imaging patient service is fast, efficient and reliable. As part of the National Integrated Medical Imaging System (NIMIS) system, all examination reports and images are available electronically on the ward and in the outpatient departments.

Reports and images will soon be available throughout the entire health service, as 35 hospitals go online during the next three years as part of the NIMIS project.
