Pharmacy
St Luke’s Hospital pharmacy department provides all prescribed medication during a patient’s stay (with the exception of HI-TECH items).
A small supply of medicines is supplied on discharge or for weekend leave, if required.
Patients are asked to have an up to date list of their current medication with them at the time of admission. Don’t forget to bring this list, please.
You can get this list from the GP or Community Pharmacist. Patients may be asked to use their own medication if it is not normally stocked in St Luke’s - until Pharmacy sources it.
Patients are requested to bring in medications they receive on the HI-TECH dispensing scheme for use during their stay in hospital.
Pharmacy is also responsible for the purchasing and dispensing of chemotherapy medication specific to patient requirements.
If you need any help or advice, please call the Pharmacy Department at 01 406 5185.
