St Luke's Hospital Awarded Medray Radiotherapy Department of the Year 2016

St Luke's Hospital was yet again delighted to receive the Medray Award for Radiotherapy Department of the Year 2016.

It is the second time in 3 years St Luke's department Rathgar secured the win.   There certainly was stiff competition from the SLRON centre at Beaumont and also our collegues in the Whitefield in Waterford. Congratulations to both of these centres on being shortlisted for the final three.

The competition is open to all radiotherapy centres. Voting for the department of the year is a fiercely fought event with unannounced visit from one of the judges, as well as announced visits from two more judges. Certain criteria including patient satisfaction and overall patient experiences is included in the scoring as well as patient and staff interviews.
