New state of the art unit installed to treat Skin Cancers

The orthovoltage machine also known as a contact machine is ceiling mounted allowing for much more versatility when setting up and treating patients.

A new state of the art unit has been installed in St Luke's to treat skin cancers.  

Skin cancers are generally treated on a daily basis, Monday to Friday, varying from 1 to 5 weeks.  The duration of treatment regime is dependent on the size and the locaiton of the lesion.
