
Radiation Therapy is a Discipline in the School of Medicine, Trinity College.
Trinity College is the only University in the Republic of Ireland to offer the four-year BSc. (Hons). Radiation Therapy, the qualification required to work as a Radiation Therapist.
The Discipline also offers a taught Online MSc. in Advanced Radiotherapy Practice, a qualification for Radiation Therapists to work in advanced roles within the field of radiation therapy.

The Discipline’s research group Advanced Radiation Therapy Trinity (ARTT) aims to improve radiation therapy cancer patients’ health, care and health service delivery. The group focuses on three inter-related research strands: Radiobiology and Molecular Oncology, Radiation Therapy Practice and Health Services Research. Click here for more details.

The Discipline has an active Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) Group. The group brings together people with personal experience of cancer and radiation therapy, including patients, family members, friends, and carers. It aims to help more people in Ireland understand what radiation therapy is and how it works.
You can share your thoughts, give feedback, and/or join our group. You do not need to be an expert or have done anything like this before—your voice and experience are very important to us. You can choose how much or how little you want to take part.
