The library provides support for research, continuing professional development, education and supporting patient care by providing best practice evidence to SLRON and HSE staff in Dublin South/West and students on clinical placement.
Services
- Resources – ejournals and databases, e-books and print books, interlibrary loan and document supply.
- Training – Information Skills online training calendar, online guides and in person training on literature searching and research.
- Evidence Searching – professional literature searching carried out by qualified team of health librarians to support research, guidelines, evidence-based practice, reviews and quality improvement initiatives.
- Space – the library provides access to 2 PCs and study spaces, printers and Wi-Fi is currently not available.

- Staffing – SLRON is staffed by a one-person librarian.
