The library supports research, ongoing professional development, education and patient care by delivering best-practice evidence to SLRON and HSE staff in Dublin South/West, as well as to students on clinical placement.

Services

  • Resources – ejournals and databases, e-books and print books, interlibrary loan and document supply.
  • Training – Information Skills online training calendar, online guides and in person training on literature searching and research.
  • Evidence Searching – professional literature searching carried out by qualified team of health librarians to support research,  guidelines, evidence-based practice, reviews and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Space – the library provides access to 2 PCs, printer and study spaces.
