The Pharmacy at St Luke’s Hospital, Rathgar works as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Shortly after admission, a clinical pharmacist will review your medication. To ensure this is done accurately and safely, we require an up-to-date list of your current medications. You are asked to bring this list with you on admission; it can be obtained from your GP or community pharmacist. Please remember to bring this medication list in with you.
While St Luke’s Hospital provides all prescribed medications, Hi-Tech medications are not supplied and should be brought in for use during your stay. You may also be asked to use your own medications if they are not routinely stocked in the hospital, until the pharmacy can source them.
A clinical pharmacist will continue to review your medications regularly throughout your stay and again before discharge. They are also available to answer any questions you may have.
If you need any help or advice, please contact the Pharmacy Department at 01 4065185.
